Tour a las Chullpas de Sillustani y Trek con Alpacas y Llamas desde Puno
DESCRIPTION:
The Sillustani Chullpas and Trek with Alpacas and Llamas Tour offers a different way to explore the landscapes of the Puno highlands. In addition to visiting the impressive funerary towers of Sillustani, you will get up close with alpacas and llamas during a walk surrounded by nature, connecting with Andean traditions and the rural life of local communities.
On this tour, you will be picked up in the afternoon (approx. 1:50 PM) to take the transportation that will take us to our destination of Sillustani (40-minute journey). Near Sillustani, we will get off to begin the trek with llamas and alpacas for approximately 1 hour.
After arriving at the Sillustani complex, the guide will take us on a 30-minute walk (easy walk) to explore the different Sillustani Chullpas or funerary towers from pre-Inca and Inca cultures that rise up to 12 meters high! We will also be able to observe the beauty of Lake Umayo surrounding the location of the chullpas.
If the group wishes, you can visit a rural house along the way (where we will see the life of the Andean people), and then return to the city of Puno.
