Tour a las Chullpas de Sillustani desde Puno – Servicio en Grupo

Explore the impressive Sillustani Chullpas on a group tour from Puno. Learn about their pre-Inca history, monumental burial towers, and the natural landscapes surrounding Lake Umayo.

DESCRIPTION:

The Sillustani Chullpas Tour is one of the most prominent cultural excursions near Puno. This group tour allows you to discover one of the most important funerary complexes in the Peruvian highlands, featuring imposing burial towers built by the Kolla culture, in a privileged location next to Lake Umayo.

On this tour, you will be picked up in the afternoon (approx. 1:50 PM) to board the transport that will take us to our destination of Sillustani (a 40-minute journey).

Upon arrival at the Sillustani complex, the guide will lead you on a 30-minute walk (gentle hike) to see the various Sillustani Chullpas or burial towers from pre-Inca and Inca cultures that stand up to 12 meters high! We will also observe the beauty of Lake Umayo surrounding the location of the chullpas. If the group wishes, you can visit a rural house along the way (where we will see the lifestyle of the Andean people), before returning to the city of Puno.
