DESCRIPTION:

The Private Uros and Taquile Floating Islands Tour is an ideal experience for travelers who wish to explore Lake Titicaca with greater tranquility, flexibility, and personalized attention. During this full-day tour, you will visit the traditional totora reed islands of the Uros and the emblematic Taquile Island, renowned for its Andean landscapes, cultural heritage, and ancestral weaving techniques preserved for generations.

We begin this experience from your hotel in Puno or from accommodations on the Uros floating islands. Afterwards, we head to Taquile Island, where we will arrive around 8:30 AM. Here, we will immerse ourselves in the culture, the textile world, and enjoy a walk with views of Lake Titicaca, avoiding tourist crowds.

After a 3-hour stop, we will head to Llachón, where we will have our typical Pachamanca-style lunch. Finally, we will return to Puno city, arriving around 4:30 PM.

Optionally, we can visit a Uros floating community different from the one usually visited on classic tours.

• Bring cash (Soles) for souvenir purchases or local products, as only some places accept card payments.
• It is advisable to bring drinks and snacks (water, rehydration drinks, energy bars, etc.) to stay hydrated and energized during the tour.
• During the rainy season (November to March), bring a waterproof jacket or plastic poncho.
